Hey all my dear dear dts friends. This xanga post is for you. I don't know why, but I suddenly had such an urge to watch the videos that both teams made when we came back from outreach. I watched them, and I just wept and wept, and actually, even as I write this I can't keep in the tears. How blessed were we guys, to have had that experience. I am just so overwhelmed right now with how good God is, how incredible his love, and how awesome his blessings. It's been 2 years since we all started on our outreach and look where God has taken all of us. Some of us to countries other than our homes, some of us back to our roots. But no matter where we are, just look how God has used us, how he's guided us, how he's held our hand. I am soooo blessed by even the memory of what we all shared together. I believe God had us all there, at that time for a reason. He has bound our hearts in an incredible way and I just wanted to tell you that I love you all so much! Blessings guys, wherever you are!

Well, its been awhile since I've updated....but alas I feel the need to do so. Why you ask? Because I'm in switzerland!!!!!!! Words can not express what it feels like to be back here again. I forgot what it was like to live in this kind of community, and to just be in switzerland. For those of you who don't know, Stef, my brother is here right now for the boarders dts, and I got the priveledge of coming to visit him (and Rosie, Matt, Alex, Adele and all those other crazy ywamers!). Its honestly so amazing how God moves here, and what is even more crazy is how I forgot about it. He has spoken more to me in the few days that I have been here than I have heard from him all year. I guess a lot of that though is that here, its like my soul craves to know God, and craves to know what he wants from me. It's been an incredible couple of days. Anyways, I just wanted to let all you dtsers know that I miss you guys so much. Being here reminds me of the amazing times we had just the incredible ways that God used us. You are all such magnificent people, and I really really love you guys! Hopefully when I get home I can post some pics. Toodles for now!

Thanksgiving day walk (where we unfortunately met the ryskamps...stupid foot rubb.)

Ok, to expalin...my family went for a walk and we had a bet of whether or not we would see someone we knew. I said for sure no, and then who do we see rounding the bend....the wonderful, kind, beautiful ryskamp family. As a result I had to give foot rubs to the winners. <tear>. THerefore I love the ryskamps and hold no hard feelings against them in any way. Just thought I'd clear that up.

Ok, so its been a little while since I last visited the world of xanga, time for some serious updating. Ok, so the summer was great. Went to Ontario for my grandparents 50th, stayed at some sweet cabins, ate a ridiculous amount of food, finally understood why I am the way I am, and had an incredible dance party complete with my grandpa boogying to Outcast. All in all a sensational weekend. Fast forward to next spurt of fun, Sandpoint Idaho!!!! Great couple of days, feeling like a richy, pretty fun. And then I think the summer was somehow over (though there were a couple of hikes, camping trips and pee breaks in there somewhere).

So..... now I'm back to school, feeling a little crazy with the amount of information trying to be stuffed inside my head, but really its awesome. I feel like my own little super hero when I'm at the hospital. "Here's your warm blanket sir ....dadadadaaaaannnnn!!!" Really I hear dadadadaaaaannnn constantly. Actually thats not true. Funny story though, yesterday one of my patients asked me why all the fish were hanging under the dock. I asked him which fish, because from my angle I couldn't see any fish under the dock, just the dock. He then replied "You going crazy or something?" This may not have came out as funny but I had to really hold it in to prevent myself from splitting a gut.

OOooooo, I went on a retreat this past weekend. THats the newest thing that happened. At this retreat we had this incredible speaker. He talked about jumping in to a life with GOd, and compared it to jumping in to a warm pool in the middle of winter. SOme people stand on the edge complaining of the cold, they may dip a toe in the water, but others he said, others jump in. From head to toe they are submerged in the water, and when they take that leap off the edge there is no turning back. Sounds a heck of a lot warmer to me. I guess I finally figured out that I don't want to be a toe dipper, but a jumper-inner. Love you all!

Hey i don't know how to add pictures, but I just uploaded some in some kind of photo something.

If you can find it I hope you enjoy!!! God BLess!!!!!!!
